These Terms and Conditions apply to the website, free resources, digital products, downloads, email content, and services offered by Computercoach®.

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using this website, downloading a free guide, or purchasing a digital product. By using the website, requesting a free guide, joining the email list, or purchasing a product, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

1. Business Information

The Netherlands

Dutch Chamber of Commerce number (KVK): 68103751

In these Terms and Conditions, "Computercoach®", "Computercoach Online", "we", "us", and "our" refer to Computercoach®.

2. What Computercoach® Provides

Computercoach® provides digital information products for online business owners, freelancers, creators, consultants, and other adults who want clearer, practical guidance around digital safety.

Products may include free guides, e-books, digital kits, ZIP files, checklists, prompts, templates, plans, educational resources, email content, and practical digital safety information.

Computercoach® sells information products only. We do not provide done-for-you IT services, managed cybersecurity services, emergency recovery services, technical audits, system configuration, account configuration, installation services, legal advice, financial advice, or professional security consulting unless this is separately agreed in writing.

3. Who May Use This Website

This website and the products offered by Computercoach® are intended for adults aged 18 or older, and for business owners and professional users. They are not intended for children.

By using the website or purchasing a product, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into an agreement.

4. Free Guides and Email Sign-Up

When you request a free guide, such as a free e-book, you may be asked to provide your first name and email address. Your last name may be optional.

By requesting a free guide, you agree that Computercoach® may send you the requested free guide, practical tips, educational content, product information, offers for the Digital Defense Implementation Kit, and offers for other relevant Computercoach® products.

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email. Transactional or service-related emails may still be sent when necessary.

5. Digital Products

Computercoach® sells digital products, usually delivered electronically through a ZIP file, a download link, an email with a download link, a checkout success page, or other digital delivery methods.

The Digital Defense Implementation Kit is a digital information product. It may include resources such as guides, checklists, prompts, plans, and practical educational material.

You are responsible for downloading, storing, and backing up your purchased files after delivery.

6. Product Descriptions

Computercoach® aims to describe all products as accurately as possible. However, product descriptions, screenshots, examples, mockups, bonuses, file names, layouts, and included materials may change over time.

Minor differences between product images, mockups, and the delivered files do not mean the product is defective, as long as the core purchased digital content is delivered.

7. Prices and Taxes

Prices are shown on the website, checkout page, or product page, and may be displayed in USD, EUR, or another currency depending on the checkout setup. The final price will be shown before purchase.

Prices may change at any time. A price change does not affect orders already completed. Taxes, VAT, sales tax, or other charges may be added or calculated during checkout where required by law.

You are responsible for providing accurate billing details, including country, address, business details, and VAT or tax information where applicable.

8. Payment

Payments may be processed through external payment providers, including Stripe, PayPal, Mollie, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Checkout may be handled through Stripe Checkout or another connected payment flow.

Computercoach® does not store full payment card details. Payment data is processed by external payment providers according to their own terms, security standards, and privacy practices.

If a payment fails, is reversed, disputed, or marked as fraudulent, Computercoach® may suspend or cancel access to the purchased product.

9. Order Confirmation and Delivery

After purchase, you should receive an order confirmation, product delivery email, or download access. Delivery may happen immediately after payment, for example through a success page or email with a download link.

If you do not receive your product within a reasonable time after successful payment, please contact info@computercoachonline.com.

10. Right of Withdrawal for Consumers in the EU, EEA, and UK

If you are a consumer in the European Union, European Economic Area, or United Kingdom, you may normally have a legal right to withdraw from a distance purchase within 14 days.

However, this right can be lost for digital content that is not supplied on a physical medium when you expressly agree that delivery may begin immediately before the withdrawal period has ended, and you acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the digital content is delivered.

Because Computercoach® sells digital downloads and may provide immediate access after purchase, you may be asked during checkout to agree to immediate delivery and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the product is delivered.

11. Checkout Consent

The checkout includes a required checkbox with wording similar to:

"I agree that Computercoach® may begin delivery of the digital product immediately after purchase. I understand that by receiving immediate access to the digital content, I lose my right of withdrawal."

A second checkbox may be used for agreement to these Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy.

12. Refund Policy

Because Computercoach® sells digital information products that can be accessed, downloaded, or copied immediately after purchase, all sales are final once the product has been delivered, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.

Refunds are generally not provided for changing your mind after purchase, not using the product, buying the wrong product, expecting done-for-you technical work, expecting personal consulting, failing to download or store files after delivery, technical issues caused by your own device or internet connection, or disagreement with the educational approach after accessing the product.

Computercoach® may, at its own discretion, issue a refund or replacement if you were charged incorrectly, purchased the same product twice by mistake, the product was not delivered due to an issue caused by Computercoach®, a file is corrupted and cannot reasonably be replaced, or a refund is required by applicable law.

13. No Guarantee of Results

Computercoach® provides educational information and practical resources. Results depend on how you use the information, your own systems, tools, business situation, technical setup, and third-party services.

We do not guarantee that your business will be fully protected, that you will avoid all digital problems, that you will never be hacked or scammed, or that any particular tool or method will work for your situation. The products are intended to help you understand common digital risks and take better-informed steps. They do not eliminate all risk.

14. No Professional Advice

The information provided by Computercoach® is for general educational purposes only. It is not legal advice, financial advice, insurance advice, tax advice, professional cybersecurity consulting, technical implementation advice for your specific systems, emergency incident response, or a replacement for a qualified professional.

You are responsible for deciding whether information is appropriate for your situation. If you need personalized advice, you should contact a qualified professional.

15. User Responsibility

You are responsible for reading product information before purchase, providing accurate contact and billing details, using a valid email address, checking your spam folder, downloading and storing your files, keeping backups, following instructions carefully, using your own judgment before making changes, getting professional help where needed, and keeping your devices, accounts, and passwords secure.

16. Digital Safety and Risk

Digital safety involves ongoing risk. No checklist, guide, prompt, template, or information product can guarantee complete protection. Online threats change over time, third-party platforms can change their settings, and you remain responsible for your own accounts, systems, tools, and decisions.

17. Intellectual Property

All content provided by Computercoach® is protected by intellectual property rights, including website text, product text, PDFs, guides, checklists, prompts, templates, plans, downloads, images, product names, branding, layouts, educational frameworks, email content, and digital resources.

Unless clearly stated otherwise, all intellectual property rights remain with Computercoach®.

18. License to Use Purchased Products

When you purchase a digital product, Computercoach® grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the product for your own personal or internal business purposes.

You may download the product, store a copy for your own use, use the checklists and templates for your own business, and print a copy where reasonable.

You may not resell the product, share it publicly, upload it to public websites, give it away as a free bonus, use it as part of your own paid product, copy or adapt it for resale, claim it as your own, share download links with others, distribute files to clients or communities, remove branding, or use the content to train competing products or services.

If you want to use Computercoach® materials for a team, client, group, course, agency, or commercial purpose, you must request written permission first.

19. Prompts and Templates

Some products may include prompts, templates, or example text. These are provided as educational tools and starting points. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and adapting them before use. Computercoach® does not guarantee that they will be accurate, complete, legally compliant, or suitable for your specific situation.

20. AI-Related Materials

Some Computercoach® products may include prompts or guidance for using AI tools. AI tools can produce inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading results. You are responsible for checking all AI output before relying on it. Computercoach® is not responsible for decisions, losses, or issues caused by AI-generated output, third-party AI tools, or your use of prompts.

21. Third-Party Tools and Platforms

Computercoach® may mention or link to third-party tools, platforms, or services. We do not control these and are not responsible for their availability, pricing, features, security, privacy practices, terms, performance, changes over time, or any loss caused by using them. You are responsible for reviewing the terms and privacy policies of any third-party tool before using it.

22. Account Security

If any product access, account area, or download page requires login details, you are responsible for keeping those details secure. You must not share your login details, download links, or product files with unauthorized users. Computercoach® may suspend or revoke access if there is evidence of abuse, unauthorized sharing, fraud, chargeback abuse, or violation of these Terms.

23. Availability of the Website and Downloads

Computercoach® aims to keep the website and downloads available, but does not guarantee uninterrupted access. The website, checkout, email delivery, or download links may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, hosting problems, payment provider issues, third-party outages, security updates, or force majeure events.

24. Product Updates

Computercoach® may update digital products from time to time. If lifetime updates are advertised, we will make reasonable efforts to provide access to updated versions. However, "lifetime" refers to the commercial lifetime of the product as offered by Computercoach®, not the lifetime of the customer or business. We may discontinue, replace, merge, or rename products where reasonable.

25. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the website, products, or materials in a way that violates any law or regulation, infringes intellectual property rights, harms Computercoach® or other users, attempts to gain unauthorized access to systems, distributes malware or spam, copies or scrapes content at scale, misuses download links, circumvents payment or access controls, harasses or threatens others, or is used for unlawful, deceptive, or harmful purposes.

26. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Computercoach® is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or business losses, including loss of profit, revenue, business, data, goodwill, reputation, customers, business interruption, security incidents, account lockouts, payment issues, website downtime, technical recovery costs, or decisions made based on the materials.

Computercoach®'s total liability for any claim related to a purchased product is limited to the amount you paid for that product, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.

27. Indemnity

If you use Computercoach® materials in a way that violates these Terms, infringes rights, causes harm, or leads to claims by third parties, you agree to indemnify and hold Computercoach® harmless from claims, damages, costs, and expenses to the extent permitted by law.

28. Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit mandatory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded. If you are a consumer, you may have rights under the laws of your country of residence. These Terms apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

29. Business Customers

If you purchase a product for business, professional, or commercial use, you confirm that you are acting as a business customer. For business customers, the product is provided as educational information for internal business use only. To the maximum extent permitted by law, consumer withdrawal rights and consumer protection rules may not apply to business customers.

30. Privacy

Computercoach® processes personal data according to the Privacy Policy. You can contact us about privacy questions at info@computercoachonline.com.

31. Complaints and Support

If you have a complaint or support request, please contact info@computercoachonline.com. Include your name, the email address used for purchase, order details if applicable, and a clear description of the issue.

32. Force Majeure

Computercoach® is not responsible for delay, failure, or inability to perform caused by events outside reasonable control, including internet outages, hosting failures, payment provider outages, email delivery failures, cyber incidents, power failures, natural disasters, war, government actions, legal restrictions, platform shutdowns, third-party service failures, illness or personal emergency, or other circumstances beyond reasonable control.

33. Changes to These Terms

Computercoach® may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The updated version will be posted on the website with a new "Last updated" date. The version that applies to your purchase is generally the version available at the time of purchase, unless a change is required by law.

34. Severability

If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining parts will continue to apply. The invalid part will be replaced or interpreted in a way that most closely reflects the original purpose, to the extent permitted by law.

35. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence provide otherwise.

36. Disputes

If a dispute arises, both parties will first try to resolve it through reasonable communication. If the dispute cannot be resolved, disputes may be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless mandatory law gives you the right to bring a claim in another jurisdiction.
